Fees and Payment

Selecting a therapist deserves careful consideration, therefore the initial phone call is where we begin to determine if my approaches would be helpful in meeting your needs.  I provide a 30-minute phone consultation to answer questions and determine whether an appointment in person is appropriate.  If so, we will discuss fees and insurance and schedule a time to meet.

Rates

Payment of fees or any other paperwork is completed at the start of the session so the remainder of our time is spent focusing on you.

$100 per 50 minute session.

Insurance

I am a Cigna Healthcare and Magellan Healthcare provider.

I am an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies.  I can provide you with the forms you will need to submit a claim to your insurance company.

Reduced Fee

Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.  If you think you might need a reduced fee, please let me know during our initial phone call.

Payment

I accept cash, check or credit card.  In addition, many health savings accounts consider psychotherapy an approved expense.

Cancellations

Once an appointment hour is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless your provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellation.  Insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled sessions.
