Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction – 8 Week Class

8-WEEK COURSE FOR CULTIVATING AWARENESS AND WELL BEING

This class is sponsored by the Lutheran Medical Center – Spine Clinic.

This experiential course will give you:

  • Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices
  • Gentle stretching and mindful yoga
  • Group dialogue to increase awareness in daily life
  • Individually tailored instruction
  • Daily home assignments, including guided mindfulness recordings and a workbook
  • Peace of mind that comes with learning from the safety of your home

Evidence-Based:

Decades of research has shown that participants training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction can have long lasting reduction in psychological distress and medical symptoms, including chronic pain.

FREE ORIENTATION

Attend the free Orientation Session: Monday, June 1, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

DATES AND TIME

Mondays, June 8 through July 27 (8 weeks) from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Plus, a Day of Mindfulness: Saturday July 11, 9:00 AM – Noon

PLACE

Classes will be held online via Zoom. Participants will need an internet connection and a webcam.
